Blood Protein Therapy for Hair Growth
Often marketed as the Vampire Hair Restoration®, blood protein therapy is used to combat hair loss and thinning hair in men and women in a procedure that uses injections of protein-rich material derived from the patient’s own blood. This treatment can naturally thicken existing hair and encourage the growth of new hair by utilises proteins from your body’s own blood to promote follicle growth and regeneration.
The rich proteins are harvested from your blood by spinning blood taken during your treatment with our centrifuge, which uses a laser to accurately calculate the yield required for an effective treatment. These rich proteins are generally five times more concentrated in the extracted protein than in regular blood. This concentration is useful, because these particles secrete growth factors that are shown to assist in wound healing and tissue regrowth. When the doctor injects the rich blood proteins into the scalp and into the base of the hair follicle, a specialised population dermal papilla (DP) are stimulated. DPs play a critical role in hair growth.
Six treatments are required, spaced apart by two to three weeks.
£750 per treatment | Course of six treatments for £3,500.
Active Treatment Time: One hour, plus 45 minutes for pre-treatment numbing.

Hair Restoration with Active Growth Factors
Research has shown that active growth factors are able to restore a healthy hair cycle and accelerate follicle production by re-invigorating dormant and sluggish hair follicles. They do this by sending messages to the messaging system of the hair follicle. In addition, because active growth factors are shown to promote growth and regeneration in your body’s building blocks, inflammatory factors found on the scalp that cause follicle death are significantly reduced.
